Being gay has meant navigating my complex relationship with men and how I fit in as someone who seeks their wanting of me as validation. STRIPTEASE explores this while being an ode to eroticism and queerness, a menagerie of how I want to be seen, and a plea to be desired. Through performative self-portraiture, the project negotiates vulnerability, submission and domination, and the need to be touched with the highest degree of intimacy.
